新化股份是一家专业化学品类的上市公司，坐落于杭州建德市，原有建筑建于2007年，面积3935平方米，主体五层，局部一层。混凝土框架结构，柱网4*4米，东西十二跨，南北三跨，主入口位于北侧。建筑立面繁琐，颇有”八零“年代感，室内较为昏暗。
Xinhua Chemical Co., Ltd. is a publicly listed company specializing in professional chemical products, located in Jiande City, Hangzhou. The original building was constructed in 2007, covering an area of 3,935 square meters. It consists of five main floors with a partial single-story section. The structure is a concrete frame with a column grid of 4 by 4 meters, featuring twelve spans east-west and three spans north-south. The main entrance is situated on the northern side. The building's facade is intricate, exuding a distinct 1980s aesthetic, while the interior is relatively dimly lit.

“中国基建从‘增量时代’走向“存量焕新”，“原先建筑和室内都比较破旧，表皮繁琐，庆幸的是整个建筑还算是较为方正，标准，我们只需要将原建筑多余的进行拆解，进行立面整体赋予。
"China's infrastructure is transitioning from an 'era of expansion' to an 'era of revitalizing existing assets.' The original building and its interior were quite worn, with a cluttered facade. Fortunately, the structure itself is relatively regular and standardized. Our task was to dismantle the unnecessary elements of the original building and give the facade a cohesive, renewed appearance."

设计保留80年代骨架以及办公楼的原开窗结构，用‘切片手术’植入新功能。在最大化自然通风采光的基础上，我们用体块切割结合空间序列的设计手法，打破建筑立面原有的沉闷，赋予建筑新的生命力。用轻质材料打造建筑造型装饰构件，既增加了立面的丰富性，同时也形成了园区的标志性界面。
The design preserves the 1980s structural framework and the original window layout of the office building, while introducing new functions through a "slicing surgery" approach. By maximizing natural ventilation and lighting, we employed a design technique of volumetric segmentation combined with spatial sequencing to break the original monotony of the building facade, infusing it with new vitality. Lightweight materials were used to create decorative architectural elements, enhancing the richness of the facade and establishing a distinctive landmark interface for the campus.
