This project focus on reducing the impact of flooding on York city centre by creating ground. By using innovation model, the micro-topographically projected to enable flood diversions and flood flow down to benefit the site. Meantime, enhancing the contribution of the design site to the community and ecology.

We will explore ways to break down the river and green space boundaries of the existing site to create more space for water, thereby slowing down the flow and storing flood water. We will also explore and build wetlands to make the site an attractive and important natural center for York.
