The site surroundings include variousschools, office, commercial and residential areas. But parking area resultsfrom automotive service industry makes what should have been a shared communitygarden a negative space. Faced with the situation of increasing populationgrowth and impact of climate change, such incongruent space has to transit tocommon ground during urban transformation. In this case, common ground in thisproject means places inclusive of various crowd activities, with a centripetaland place spirit, and it can self-optimize and proliferate in the city.

“Active proliferation” refers to spreading of self-optimization spacewith value improvement of unreasonable space. The proliferation strategyincludes 5 steps: guiding the public, Creating attraction, arousing voluntaryelastic construction, diffusion of the crowd, finally self-optimization and proliferationof space. By “Margin Revitalization”, befitting space provides dwellers with“Elastic Construction” places, and through dispersing of the crowd, otherself-optimization and active proliferation will be realized

To activate the edge, after masses ofanalyses, we organize new functions and scatter what before concentrated in themiddle of site to the margin, thus offering composite space forms. In this way,the design can adapt to the corresponding people taking activities around thebuildings. Simultaneously, the central open space will serve as part of aflexible urban space using an online network to connect residents, socialorganizations and governments. Meanwhile, the scattered and fragmented space inthe site will be self-organized to repair the scars formed in the industrialarea in Oslo.

为了开拓搭建空间，我们将功能分散于办公楼与综合体周边，中心部分既作为小广场，也是游园，也兼顾了proposal school的集散与活动功能。办公楼附近设计互动装置的交互景观，住宅附近则多提供给各年龄层交谈休闲的空间。丰富的功能活化了边界，也增加中心区域的使用率。基于此，搭建活动可以在开阔地展开。

为实现如同该场地一般的空间不合理场地进行自我优化和增值。我们将原本应当集中于中间的功能分散在了建筑周边，通过构造复合的空间形式，来适应喜爱在建筑周边活动的对应人群。同时，中间的开放场地将作为弹性城市空间的一部分，利用在线网络连接居民，社会组织和政府。创造吸引力，引导公众参与，在场地中间使用具有场地精神的‘火柴盒，进行自由的搭建和创造，创造与人类活动密切相关的场所。并通过人群的扩散，实现其他自我优化和增殖，将场地内零散破碎的空间自我组织，修复工业区在奥斯陆形成的伤疤。
