近期，LAB受邀参加位于四川省成都市每经中心的方案设计竞赛。每经中心项目以金融、商业、文创、旅游、体育等多种产业混合布局，拟打造当地乃至整个西南区域未来数字传媒与时尚艺术新地标。

Recently, LAB wasinvited to participate in a design competition for the Pershing Center inChengdu, Sichuan Province. The project is intended to create a new landmark of digitalmedia and fashion art in the local area and the whole southwest region with amixed layout of financial, commercial, cultural and creative, tourism andsports industries.

▶  设计愿景  

地与天，水岸与公园，环境与艺术，LAB想要构建的是新传媒和新时尚的方舟，尽可能满足到此或工作或购物或旅游人士的任何需求。我们期许通过我们的设计，赋予成都新IP。

Earth and sky,waterfront and park, environment and art, LAB wants to build an ark of newmedia and new fashion, to meet as much as possible any needs of people who comehere or work or shop or travel. Through our design, we hope to give Chengdu anew IP.



▶  设计理念  
建筑形体层叠流畅，如行云流水般威严耸立，亦不失优雅含蓄之韵味。塔楼造型设计简洁流畅，裙房设计延续了塔楼的整体元素，根据功能需求定义屋顶花园和露台，营造方便使用又极具特色的独享空中场所。由演播厅、艺术展示等功能组成的“负空间”设计，是整个建筑画龙点睛之笔。建筑各大空间互相穿插，又可相互分享，形成紧凑的统一体，彰显LAB在节能减排提高建筑效率上的独到之处。 对于配套景观，则匠心别致的设计了叠水花园。自然江水和项目内建筑景观相互映衬延续延绵，你中有我，我中有你。

The building iscascading smoothly, standing majestically like flowing clouds, but also losingits elegant and subtle flavor. The design of the tower is simple and smooth,while the design of the podium continues the overall elements of the tower, andthe roof garden and terrace are defined according to the functionalrequirements to create a convenient and unique air space. The "negativespace" design, consisting of the studio and art exhibition, is thefinishing touch to the whole building. All the major spaces of the building areinterspersed and can be shared with each other, forming a compact unity andhighlighting LAB's uniqueness in energy saving and emission reduction toimprove building efficiency. For the supporting landscape, a water garden hasbeen designed with great care. The natural river water and the architecturallandscape of the project reflect each other and continue to stretch, you have me and I have you.

▶  设计细节  
LAB经过拓扑最优化的负空间设计，为结构绗架空间提供了载体。前瞻性的方案设计，为今后高层综合体的整体抗震性能提高，减少垂直交通能耗，增加水平多功能复合的效率等多方面给出了最大潜力和空间。

LAB is designed with topologically optimized negativespace to provide a carrier for structural quilting space. The forward-lookingscheme design gives the maximum potential and space for the future improvementof the overall seismic performance of the high-rise complex, the reduction ofvertical traffic energy consumption, and the increase of the efficiency of thehorizontal multifunctional complex in many aspects.

▶  建筑功能

双塔的设计由两座空中连廊衔接，每座空中连廊皆具备特色功能，分别对应新传媒和新时尚的主题。双塔设计主要功能包括3000平方米数字艺术馆；3000平方米国际智慧会展中心；4000平方米交子·伯克利未来音乐中心；4000平方米每经智媒中心；2000平方米国际时尚发布中心；3000平方米文创路演中心；3000平方米时尚顶奢酒店；8000平方米国际财经媒体集群，以及新媒体办公、艺术商业等。对建筑群体的设计，时刻体现LAB追求的共享、高效、互动、灵活等个性。

The design of thetwin towers is connected by two sky-linked corridors, each with a special function,corresponding to the themes of new media and new fashion. The main functions ofthe twin towers include 3,000 square meters of digital art gallery; 3,000square meters of international intelligent exhibition center; 4,000 squaremeters of Jiaotzu-Berkeley Future Music Center; 4,000 square meters of everyeconomic intelligent media center; 2,000 square meters of international fashionpublishing center; 3,000 square meters of cultural and creative road showcenter; 3,000 square meters of fashion top luxury hotel. 8000 square meters ofinternational financial media cluster, as well as new media office, artbusiness, etc. The design of the building group always reflects LAB's pursuitof sharing, efficiency, interaction, flexibility and other personalities.

▶  沉浸式体验  
结合成都街巷的地下商业街，LAB运用了一贯擅长的商旅文融合设计手法：社区舞台，路演广场，未来必可成为市民聚集，各种特色商业活动及休闲娱乐人气场所。

Combined with the underground commercial street ofChengdu streets, LAB has applied the design techniques of integration ofbusiness, tourism and culture that it has always been good at: community stage,road show plaza, which will surely become a popular place for citizens togather, various special commercial activities and leisure and entertainment inthe future.

▶  趣味景观
LAB秉承建筑语言与环境语言相结合，景观脉络延续建筑纹理向场地周边散射开去，如同水中涟漪的褪韵。水波纹的干涉形成丰富的地景景观，与建筑遥相呼应。户外演艺广场，滨水空间，开放广场，绿地空间，栈桥码头，多元化的设计手法再次将四面八方的人群聚集到这里。

The LAB combines the language of architecture with thelanguage of the environment, and the landscape vein continues the texture ofthe building to spread out around the site, like the fading rhythm of ripplesin the water. The interference of water ripples forms a rich landscape thatechoes the architecture. Outdoor performance plaza, waterfront space, openplaza, green space, trestle pier, diversified design techniques again bringpeople from all directions to this place.

步行道LAB运用了彩色的广场铺砖及木铺底，为了区别项目其他区域的铺地或车道。在铺地中的不同位置独具匠心的点缀了弧线形的花台、草坪、水池、雕塑等景观元素，在广场核心区进行重点铺装，增加丰富的色彩和城市小品的元素。未来我们期待各种活动在这里举办：雕塑；公共艺术；也可以是节假日快闪活动。任何时候，LAB都坚持将专业的设计元素和人文内涵相结合。

The walkway LAB uses colorful square paving tiles and wooden paving substrate, inorder to distinguish the paving or driveway in other areas of the project.Different locations in the paving are uniquely embellished with curvedflowerbeds, lawns, ponds, sculptures and other landscape elements, with keypaving in the core of the square to add rich colors and elements of urbanvignettes. In the future, we expect various events to be held here: sculptures;public art; and also holiday flash mob events. At all times, LAB insists oncombining professional design elements with humanistic connotations.
