归来兮桠溪庄园酒店位于距离南京90公里的高淳“国际慢城”荆山竹海景区。50平方公里范围内无工业污染，山青水净，田园牧歌，宛若室外桃源。
The Backto Resort Hotel is located 90 kilometers away from Gao Chun's "International Slow City" in Nanjing. Within 50 square kilometers, there is no industrial pollution. With green mountains and pure water, the countryside is just like a paradise.

BACKTO自然 | 隐于林伴于水
Back to Nature | Live in the forest with the lake
本项目的业主，专注于有机农业和健康生活领域，提倡“归来兮”精神，采取适应当地生态、文化的，不伤害土地的生产方式，让农业生态得以平衡发展。与之相应，本项目的核心概念，是让建筑回归自然，“隐于山林，伴于湖水”，与自然和谐共处。
The client, focusing on organic agriculture and healthy living, advocates the Backto spirit of "returning to the land", adopting production methods that are adapted to local ecology and culture and do not harm the land, so that the agricultural ecology can be developed in a balanced way. Accordingly, the core concept of this project is to bring the architecture back to nature, "hidden in the mountains, accompanied by the lake", living in harmony with nature.

为了减少对环境的影响，酒店整体采用分散式布局，一系列单体散布于山谷林间，包含接待中心、SPA会所、红酒餐厅、会议中心、独栋客房等。其中，接待中心作为酒店的门户，是客人体验“归来兮”生活的第一站，承担了礼宾、餐饮、娱乐服务等核心功能。
In order to reduce the impact on the environment, the hotel adopts a decentralized layout with a series of small units scattered among the valley, including a reception center, SPA club, wine bar, conference center, and guest rooms. Among them, the reception center, as the gateway to the hotel, is the first stop for guests to experience the Backto life, undertaking the core functions of concierge, catering and entertainment services.

立坝临水 | 地形的挑战与机遇
Located on The Dam | Challenges & Opportunities of the Terrain
项目基地的形态特殊，位于一处水坝之上，北侧为仙塘水库，南侧为稻田，两侧地势高差较大，为设计带来挑战的同时也充满了独特的趣味。
The project site is quite special, locating on top of a dam, with the Xiantang Reservoir to the north and the rice fields to the south, which poses a challenge for the design but also brings unique fun.

坝顶与北侧湖面高差3米，与南侧稻田高差9米。设计师采用了“错落层叠”的场地策略：将建筑嵌入坝体，顺地势布置，最大限度减少土方量，保护原有的生态环境。特殊的高差关系赋予了建筑体量独特的双面性：北侧临水为单层体量，减少了对湖面天际线的干扰；南侧临稻田展开的立面共有三层，逐级退台，负一层与绿地齐平。裸露的混凝土、多层露台棱角分明的转折线、虚实交错的表面以及倾泻而下的光影共同勾勒出建筑形体。
The height difference between the top of the dam and the lake on the north side is 3 meters, and the height difference between the dam and the rice fields on the south side is 9 meters. The designers adopted a "staggered" site strategy: the buildings are embedded in the dam body and arranged according to the terrain to minimize the amount of earthwork and protect the original ecological environment. The special height difference relationship gives the building volume a unique double-sided character: the north side is a single-story volume facing the water, reducing interference with the lake skyline; the south side has a three-story façade facing the rice paddies, with each level receding step by step. The exposed concrete, the angular turning lines of the terrace, the interlocking surfaces and the light and shadow pouring down on the building together outline the building form.

建筑邻水库一侧为单层体量，提供了从室内观赏湖面景观的绝佳视野，同时将水岸景观连续性受到的影响降至最低。
The single-story volume on the side of the building adjacent to the reservoir provides excellent views of the lake from the interior, while minimizing the impact on the continuity of the waterfront view.

面向稻田一侧的三层建筑体量层层内退，自然形成了丰富的层次，为客人提供了闲聊、喝茶、赏景的场景，共同感知自然的意境。入夜，整体建筑与景观的灯光结合相得益彰，营造出惬意的度假环境。室内灯光泛出，在泳池水面上留下摩挲的倒影，给人留下了无限的想象空间。整个酒店从内而外释放着宁静祥和、亲切闲适的感觉，感受野奢的浪漫。
The three-story building volume facing the rice fields recedes in layers, providing guests with platforms to chat, drink tea and enjoy the beautiful scenery. At night, the lighting of the building and landscape complements each other naturally, creating a cozy resort environment. The indoor lighting floods out and leaves a fondling reflection on the pool, leaving unlimited space for imagination. The whole hotel releases a peaceful, comfortable and relaxing feeling from inside and outside, interpreting what is called romance of wild luxury.
顺势而为 | 转折的横向线条与地形的结合
Follow The Terrain | Horizontal Stripes Combined with the Terrain
建筑师希望这个建筑具有在地性，而不是在自然中特立独行。逐层退台的手法减弱了建筑的体量感，同时，每层楼板用横线条收边，与两侧的山体等高线相呼应，顺应原地势自然转折，消解了现代建筑的精致感，增加了山野的粗犷感，形成独特的视觉语言。
The stepping platforms diminish the building volume, while at the same time, the floor slabs are edged with horizontal stripes, echoing the contours of the mountain on both sides and following the natural form of the terrain, dissolving the refinement of a modern architecture and increasing the ruggedness, which forms a unique icon.

返璞归真 | 在地化的材料选择，简洁精致的细部构造
Return to the Nature | Localized Materials & Delicate Details
建造问题，是建筑师思考和工作的核心内容之一，只有材料和细部被仔细考量时，抽象的形式语言才拥有了真正的意义。
Construction is one of the core thoughts for architects. Abstract formal language takes real meaning only when materials and details are carefully considered.

设计师希望最大限度上实现设计的本土性，尽可能采用本地的、充满自然气息的材料。由竹子加工而成的重竹木挂板，干挂清水混凝土板，仿石质感铝板，配合高透玻璃幕墙，由此打破室内外的边界，营造出融于自然的氛围。
The designers tried to maximum localization of the design, using local and natural materials as much as possible. Wood panels made from local bamboo, pale grey concrete slabs, aluminum panels and glass curtain walls are used to break the boundary between interior and exterior and create a natural atmosphere.

过度的细节堆砌会消解建筑本身与自然的共生关系，所以建筑师采用“隐”的手法，将建筑细节仔细的隐藏在整体体量中，远观无所踪，而在近人的尺度，可以感受到细节的匠心。
Over-exquisite details will dissolve the symbiotic relationship between the building and nature, so the architect adopts a "hidden" approach, carefully hiding the architectural details in the overall volume, so that from a distance there is no trace, but at a close human scale, the craftsmanship of the details can be felt.

功能组织 & 平面布局
Functions & Plan Layout
建筑内部空间有序而丰富，建筑的主入口及迎客大堂位于首层西侧。大堂吧和用餐区均朝南布置，坐拥良好的视野；多功能吧、茶室、书吧及零点餐厅布置在二层，北侧紧邻湖面，视野开敞，同时也可以让客人在室外平台享受日出日落、临湖凭风的体验；健身娱乐功能布置在负一层南侧，并配有被稻香环绕的户外泳池。
The main entrance and lobby are located on the west side of the ground floor. The lobby bar and dining area face south with views. The multi-functional room, tea house, book bar and restaurant are arranged on the second floor, adjacent to the lake, also allows guests to enjoy the sunrise and sunset on the outdoor terrace. Fitness and recreation functions are arranged on the south side of the basement floor with an outdoor pool surrounded by rice fragrance.

Conclusion
设计中没有偶然与巧合，场地、功能和空间的关系决定了一切，每个决策都是诸多因素导致的结果，而设计师的工作就是保持这些因素之间的平衡，为那些使用我们设计或建造的空间中的人提供价值和愉悦。在业主的大力支持下，设计最终克服了场地和功能中的种种矛盾，实现了体量、空间、材料和光线的平衡。我们希望作品有扎根于自然并与自然常在的关系，让人慢下身心，远离尘嚣，回归生活本身。
There is no coincidence in design, the relationship between site, function and space and dictates everything, each decision is the result of countless factors, and the architect's job is to maintain the balance between these factors to provide value and pleasure to those who live in the spaces we design or build. With the strong support of client, the design ultimately overcame the contradictions in site and function to achieve a balance of volume, space, materials and light. We hope that the work has a relationship rooted in the nature, allowing people to slow down their minds, get away from the hustle and bustle, and return to life itself.

功能组织 & 平面布局
