“碟屋”（The Disk House）

这座称为“碟屋”（The Disk House）的循环设计理念为主的透明化住宅，是设计者卡里姆·拉希德（Karim Rashid）对于2020年病毒流行的一种回应。

Dubbed “The DiskHouse”, the design of this circular, see-through residence, came as a responseto the COVID lockdown.

“碟屋”的设计概念是提供给居住者以360度的全景视角，建筑主形态去掉了尖锐的棱角和会干扰视线的障碍，譬如说立柱。

The concept of theDisk House is to have 360 degrees views, with no sharp corners and noobstructive columns.

“人们因为疫情的关系被锁在家这么长时间，让我意识到与外部的连接非常重要——而这就取决于玻璃材质的立面可以为将居住者同外界环境联结做到何种程度；建筑的透明特性，本质在于“去物质性”；因此“碟屋”主旨在于为即便身居室内的人们，提供更广阔无际的空间，并营造出积极的心理状态。”卡里姆如是说。

“Being locked down for so many months now, made me realize how importantthe connection with the exterior is - and how much a glazed surface can do foryou. Transparency is immaterial;hence your space always feels much larger and it creates a positive mentalpsyche”, says Karim.

全玻璃景象，提供给建筑本身一种连贯的语言。建筑的室外和室内元素，在这个“弯曲”的家中充分实现了自由流动。

Fully glazed, boththe architecture and interior design flow freely in this curved home.

“碟屋”（The Disk House）

碟屋的中央立柱不仅用于整体构筑的物理支撑，还作为房屋的能量中枢，运行着建筑所有电气，供暖，通风，空调，管道和其他技术流通。

The central columnnot only creates the overall support, but also runs all electrical, heating,ventilation and air conditioning, plumbing, and technology.

两间卧室，以及两间半的浴室将建筑的总面积扩展成200平方米，以及形成上下两层的结构。

The two bedrooms,the two-and-a-half-bathroom house expands over 200 square meters and twofloors.

而在建筑外部，圆状泳池和谐地勾勒出房屋的主线轮廓，为整体设计打造了一处更为清新自然，舒适自由的环境。

Outside, a circularpool delineates the house, adding to the fresh environment.
