The Qiang’s age-old medicinal wisdom is fading. I aim not only to preserve it, but also to revive it. Centered on the core Qiang community, my design reconnects culture, landscape, and local life into a living system. Fragmented spaces are brought together: a cable car links villages with healing spaces, contour terraces improve medicinal plant cultivation, and the forest becomes a living pharmacy. Together, these strategies create a cultural landscape that supports heritage, ecology, and local development. By creating new opportunities for cultural tourism and local industries, my design encourages younger generations to stay and share their culture, while providing additional income for older residents and helping Qiang medicinal traditions continue to thrive.
